Will there be any convergence and harmonization of the various electrical energy metering standards namely the IEC 62053-21, OIML R46, European and ANSI standards. We should ensure that the plug/socket international situation is not repeated with metering standards.

Which are the academic/professional requirements that are needed to become a member of WG?

Many countries in South America implemented a Legal Metrology programm. They are forced to follow OIML R46 instead of IEC 62052 & IEC 62053. However manufactures design products according to IEC. OIML defines other currents such us the transition current. How can we do?

Multipart meters aare out of the IEC 62055 scope however SAM market prefers Split meters. When are we going to have a multipart payment meter standard?

Secondly will static energy meter errors caused by conductedelectromagnetic Interference be addressed in new versions of IEC metering standards. Question from the Metrology Department of the Saint Lucia Bureau of Standards (SLBS) in the Caribbean.
