I must correct something said regarding the uses of BIM. For sure Architects and Designers use BIM to improve project and construction process.But BIM is also used for Building operation, and this is a very important BIM use, for Facilities Management Implementation, where data quality is mandatory

Perhaps the difference is that the DT is an exact (as much as possible) digital replica of the physical system while in CIM the models don't have to be so detailed
